A project built with React that allows the user to search through thousands of stations around the world using the community radio browser api.

Viewable in either map or list view, users can browse anonymously or create an account to save their favourite stations as well as recently played ones.

Generative Audio

Generative Audio is a project that uses Google's AI and machine learning library Mediapipe to track the users facial features and hands to create music using the tone.js library.

Currently still in development and use for desktop, users can move their hands across the canvas to make music -- the left hand performs chords, while the right hand controls single notes. Flip your hand around to try different modes!

Future release includes: improved UI, controllable effects with your face, process audio from the microphone, and interactive visual cues based on the chord, note, and effects being used.

Hello again! I'm Kwame Appiah-Kubi (he/him), a graduate of Juno College of Technology, as well as Humber College with a degree in Television. Combining my education, I love to create code that focuses on the user experience as well as accesibility and inclusivity.

Outside of coding I'm a huge sports fan, trivia aficionado, and I love to do daily crosswords (very poorly). You can find me digging through bins at a record store, watching a sad movie at the theater, or zipping around Toronto on my bike.
